Our goal at
South Bay Bullies
is to produce healthy companion and working bulldogs with
a bulldog attitude. Our dogs are family pets first, but
will protect us if needed. At
SOUTH BAY BULLIES, we start imprinting puppies at birth,
which makes a more stable working bulldog. All puppies are
socialized from the time of birth until they go to their new
homes. We keep all breedings indoors so we can interact
with the dame and the puppies to make sure they all have a good
survival rate. At SOUTH BAY BULLIES,
we work all of our dogs in SCH and PSA. This particular breed
excels at protection work and obedience--you will see a natural
defense drive out of most puppies at about 6 months of age.
You must continue with training to bring out the full potential
in your dog. If at any time you need help with your bully
as far as nutrition, health, training, or house breaking,
SOUTH BAY BULLIES will be willing to
try to answer any questions you may have. If at any time
you are unable to care for your Alapaha,
SOUTH BAY BULLIES will take him or her back, no questions
asked.
Nutrition:
When it comes to feeding our dogs at
SOUTH BAY BULLIES, we feed 90% raw food: chicken, turkey,
whole fish, liver, heart, and rabbit. All the food is raw
and served with the bone. All dogs are carnivores, and we
have seen great results with the
raw diet. We feed kibble one time a week with no corn,
grain, rye, or fillers.
