First of
all, I would like to introduce myself to your clients.
My name is Wolfgang Rader. I have been training dogs
since 1978 in personal protection, Schutzand, military, ring
training and show dogs.
I met
Brian and his dog, Zeus, in the spring of 2005. At the
time, Zeus was 7 months old. Zeus was very playful,
obedient, open-minded and had good socialization skills,
which made it easy for me to train Brian and Zeus. In
our first session on the fence, Zeus was a little hesitant
at biting the burlap sack; but by our third session, he was
hitting an adult sleeve. At session five, Zeus was
capable of performing search the blinder, hold and bark,
stop the agitator from escaping from the blinder, do a long
courage test with gun and whips, and would "out" on command.
Zeus also excelled in the obedience part of the training--he
would heel off-leash, sit and down while in motion.
Zeus is a dog who is very attached to his owner. He
has a lot of potential, play, drive, confidence, courage and
intelligence. He knows when to turn it on and when to
turn it off. All of these potentials come from good
breeding. Zeus is a definite candidate to be titled in
Schutzand and makes a great protection dog.
It was a
pleasure for me to work with Brian and Zeus. Brian is
a person who searches for a lot of information as he wants
to learn as much as possible about health, training and
working with his dogs. He takes training and the care of his
dogs very seriously. Brian protects the Alapaha
Blueblood breed like his own child. He wants to make
sure the breed does not get a bad image. Brian's goal
is to breed healthy and high quality dogs with a lot of
temperament to protect the image of the bulldog breed. Armed
with his recent training and new information, he is trying
to bring a positive way to train his dogs. He is a person
who can decide what is good or bad for his dogs. He is
a person who doesn't breed or train to make a profit but
wants the best for the breed. I wish him good luck in
the future. May God always be with him and his dogs.
Sincerely,
Wolfgang Rader
